Traditional size Foundation Appaloosa Mare

This sweet foundation-type Appaloosa mare is representative of the
type of horses we all grew up with...steadfast, loyal, 'babysitter' type of
horses that patiently taught us what we needed to know to ride.
Wyakim is a Traditional size Appaloosa mare that will be cast in hollow
resin by Mountain View Studios. She is a limited edition of just 50
casts, with 40 available to the public and the remainder at the artist's
discretion. Wyakim represents a new style for Michelle Platt, an artist
who previously completed mostly Iberian breeds and strong action
poses....a more contemplative, show-friendly mare.
NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS WHO CURRENTLY OWN WYAKIM:
We received word on April 11, 2008 that Wyakims cast after February
20th MAY have been cast with a bad batch of resins from the resin
company.
PLEASE TEST YOUR WYAKIMS BEFORE PAINTING.
The problem manifests itself as a sticky model. Paint will not adhere
to the horse.
* Put a small test patch of primer or paint on the sides of the horse.
* Heat your Wyakim GENTLY using a hair dryer.
* Heat for several minutes.
* Wipe with tissue. If damp, contact EquinArt for a replacement.
