China Wyakin
She might be the finest china horse model available anywhere in the world. She is the china version of
Wyakin, a Traditional-scale Appaloosa mare sculpted by Michelle Platt.
Each model is hand-cast in fine bone china, then finished into a soft, realistic Appaloosa pattern that will
literally take your breath away. Four patterns will be offered: leopard Appaloosa, black varnish with a blanket
and spots, bay varnish with a blanket and spots, and a black varnish roan.
You may choose which pattern and finish - satin, matte or glossy - you prefer. We recommend satin finish,
shown here.
Each horse is hand-created by Donna Chaney and a team in the United Kingdom, experts on the fine art of
china. Donna's work is well known in the model horse community, and each of these models exemplifies
her exquisite artwork and attention to finish work - all on Michelle's original, live show quality, champion
Appaloosa horse sculpture.
Because of the great amount of time, attention to detail, and care each sculpture takes, as well as the size
