Sagira ("Little One") is the newborn filly to accompany broodmare Eshe, sculpted by
American Academy of Equine Art member Candace Liddy. broodmare and her prancing
newborn filly.
Sagira's finely sculpted details include the typical dry coat and little wavy swirls of hair found
on foals' foreheads, rump and ribs, and even a sculpted umbilical stump. She's only hours
old, and leans towards her dam for protection. Her inquisitive gaze drinks in the world around
her. Sagira captures all the details and precious new life of a beautiful Arabian foal.
Sagira is Breyer horse Traditional size, meaning she is 6 1/4 inches tall and 5" long. She is
in a walking pose and leans slightly towards her dam. She is cast in solid resin and is a one
mold release with approximately 60 copies available worldwide. The artist will also release
both Eshe and Sagira in limited edition fine bronze, either separately or together. Only seven
bronze sculptures will be made.
