Kristin Berkery
Kristin Berkery
Kristin started drawing horses at a very young age and moved into
sculpture and ceramics as a teenager. She's been around horses her
entire life and was involved with Arabians for 14 years, including a 2-year
stint as editorial assistant at Arabian Horse World magazine. She took
several art classes in high school and college but pursued a business
degree for its practicality. In 2001 she returned to painting and sculpting
horses with an emphasis on conformation, biomechanics, and realism.
Kristin has created five resin sculptures to date and continues to paint her
own sculptures on a limited basis. When she's not creating art, she
enjoys spending time with her husband, baby daughter, dog, and cat.
