When Tonia Rose Facundo began her first sculpture, she set out to
create "my dream horse...." This Friesian stallion, the artist's first work,
captures the spirit of the horse in its graceful sculptural lines, the
proud tilt of the stallion's head, and the sweep of his flowing mane and
tail. Cast in solid urethane resin, this is a large Traditional size
sculpture, measuring approximately 9 3/9" at the ear tips. He is cast
in solid resin with steel reinforced legs. He stands without a base if
you prefer him as the sculptor intended, rounding the inside corner of
the arena with his weight on his right front, or he could be mounted on
a base if you prefer a more upright trotting pose (base not included).
This is a smooth cast that should be easy to prep and paint. Whether
you enjoy a more interpretive style, or are looking for a nice first resin to
paint, Tonia's Friesian will bring joy and delight to your collection.
